WHO WE ARE (AND WHAT WE DO)

The network was founded (and is currently run) by Benjamin Brundu-Gonzalez (PhD candidate, London School of Economics) and Maxime Quijoux (Research Associate, CNRS).

Our objective is to gather researchers (from all disciplines) who engage with the work of Pierre Bourdieu to understand how inequality is made, maintained, or resisted in the workplace and the labor market.

Our first project was the 2022 conference, which took place in Paris. This was a free and hybrid conference, making the event truly international, with speakers from each and every continent.

We are now launching monthly online seminars where researchers from all around the world will present and discuss their recent work. Click here to find out more about the Spring 2023 schedule!

We will soon announce new events and projects.

Get our Newsletter (or follow us on Twitter or Mastodon) to know about our future events and projects.

Subscribe to our mailing list to connect with other members of the network!
